vintage
The season started beautifully with a wet spring and late flowering, followed by a warm and dry season, producing refined flavour, great elegance and real personality.
winemaking
The Sauvignon Blanc grapes were gently pressed to tank and then fermented at cool temperatures to enhance aromatic freshness. A small portion of juice was fermented in new and old French oak puncheons to impart rich texture to the end wine. On the completion of fermentation, the wine was chilled and clarified to ensure primary fruit freshness is at the forefront of the style.
