Technical
vintage
The 2020 vintage was characterised by a cool, dry and long growing season, resulting in wines with elegant acidity, ripe tannin and great depth of flavour.
winemaking
Shiraz and Malbec parcels were crushed and pumpovers and delestage were used to extract fine tannin and colour. After 12-14 days, when fruit flavour and tannin extraction were optimised, the separate fermentations were pressed and primary fermentation was completed to dryness. The wines were then racked into French oak barrels for 12-15 months of maturation, before blending.

Reviews
James Halliday, The Top 100 - The Western Australian 2021
Fermentation and maceration proceeded for 12-14 days, thence to French barrels for 15 months maturation. Vivid colour, it beggars belief this has an RRP so low. It’s the real deal – a wine with layer upon layer of red and black fruits and serious tannins, and then given that time in French oak.

A shiraz, malbec and tempranillo combination. Heaps of energetic lively fruit with firm supporting tannins. Great for pasta dishes with red meat sauce.

Stuart Knox, The Real Review 2021
Deep to opaque purple core with a vibrant purple rim. Lifted and aromatic nose with purple fruits, blood pudding and cinnamon spices. Cured meat and black fruits on the palate, with a graphite minerality. Good flow and a grip of grainy tannins dry the finish. Interest and character at a very good price. Top value.

2020 Estate Shiraz Et Al
This has to be one of the best Shiraz wines on the market at the moment at this price point. Smooth, easy drinking. Can’t fault it

2020 Estate Shiraz Et Al
I shall endeavour to keep a few bottles longer but as Oscar Wilde said, I can resist everything but temptation.

Deep Woods Shiraz
So beautiful and smooth, goes nicely with a scotch fillet steak and a Greek salad

Deep Woods Shiraz et al
Simply Sensational
Et Al Shiraz, deserves 5 Gold stars !! (pity 5 is max)
The staff were a pleasure to deal with. I bought a box of six when I did a cellar door visit & couldn't resist ordering another batch of 12 when returning to Perth. Such a delicate, smooth Shiraz, really good value for money, I'll be back !!

Perfect Red to Share with Friends and Family
Shiraz et al always delievers, vintage after vintage. The moment i crack the cap I get hit with smells of spice and ripe plums, which transports me back to Christmas evening, spent enjoying Grandma's plum pudding.
