Why you'll love this wine

The Strelley Farm Pét Nat is a lightly sparkling wine produced with minimal intervention winemaking to fully showcase terroir and the bold, expressive fruit aromatics of Tasmania.

This is an exuberant Pét Nat with aromas that leap out of the glass to delight the senses. Think bright passionfruit, rich lime peel, juicy pineapple and fresh pea shoots alongside elegant nashi pear.

Made in a hands-off way and bottled unfined and unfiltered. This has captured a sense of time and place in the bottle, creating a deliciously juicy and full-flavoured wine, that will linger long after your glass is empty.

palate

The first sip of this wine brings concentrated passionfruit pulp and a moreish hit of ginger spice and kaffir lime. Savour your mouthful and the full complexity of the wine will show itself with layers of pink grapefruit, lemon drop and pineapple juice mingling on the palate. Reviews

Shanteh Wale, Wine Pilot, August 2023

A blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling and Gewurztraminer from the Coal River Valley. I imagine the winemaking team had a lot of fun here. You’ll find it a butterscotch yellow in the glass. The wine immediately hits you with distinct ripe jackfruit aromas. If you haven't tried one before, think of it as a medley of finger banana, mango ice cream and custard apple. You are then treated to a slice of wobbly passionfruit curd tart with vanilla bean and toasted coconut in the crust. It's an invoking wine and one that makes me hungry as you can tell. Richly textured with brioche, honey and roasted cashews, there is a bit of everything all at once in this wine. It's unlike any bubbles you've tried before and feels like it's designed for Spritz lovers. Drink now alongside a good old homemade pavlova the messier the better.
