Why You'll Love This Wine
Chenin Blanc is making a comeback in a serious way, especially here in WA where the Swan Valley (also known as the capital of Chenin Blanc in Australia!) is producing some serious and complex expressions of this lesser-known variety. Winemaker Emma Gillespie said: "Chenin Blanc has a great natural acidity that holds up well to the warm Swan climate, whilst still developing a great flavour profile."
Her winemaking philosophy? "Don't make it like Chardonnay – let the fruit express itself in majority stainless steel tank, with a hint of barrel ferment to layer in the texture."
This wine exemplifies all the characteristics of a vibrant style of Swan Valley Chenin Blanc. Think crisp apples, lime and bright florals with a juicy, flavoursome and long finish. The 2023 Regional Chenin Blanc is a delicious, refreshing wine that will have you coming back for more.

Reviews
Ray Jordan WA Wine Review 2025
Gosh, there were some terrific Chenins from the Swan Valley in ’23 and this is yet another. Everything just fits together so well. Loads of citrus character and light tropical fruit on the nose. Exquisite weight and flavour intensity on the palate with its zingy lime and lightly appley characters. What a joy to drink.

Halliday Wine Companion 2025
Fresh and fruity number here. Bright citrus fruit scents with some citrus floral elements, red apple, whiffs of warm slate in the mix. Good concentration of flavour, very limey but cut with minty herbal elements, green almond, more red apple (crunchiness included) with a touch of lemon sorbet through the finish. Very lively, easy drinking, quietly complex and engaging.
