Why you'll love this wine
The Single Vineyard range is designed to highlight the unique characteristics of some of the most exceptional vineyard sites from across Western Australia. The fruit for this wine is sourced from the Talisman Vineyard in Ferguson Valley, Geographe and showcases the powerful fruit and bright acidity that are hallmarks of this stunning wine region in the southwest.
This Chardonnay is crafted in a modern, refined style to bring the purity of fruit from this special vineyard site to the fore. Time in oak and maturation on lees brings a rich texture and warm caramel notes, alongside the delicious stonefruit and apple characters.

Technical
winemaking
Fruit was sourced from the Talisman Vineyard in Geographe.
The grapes were whole bunch pressed, without settling, directly to French barriques, 40% of which were new and 60% of which were one year old. The wine underwent wild fermentation and spent 8 months on lees. After fermentation, the barrels were topped and stirred only once before being lightly fined and bottled.

Reviews
Ray Jordan, WA Wine Guide 2024
Impressive Chardonnay sourced from the Geographe region. Beautiful opening with lemon scents and edgy grapefruit evident on the nose. The palate has achieved a high level of complexity with a flinty charry edge to the lime dominated citrus nuance. A tight minerally savoury finish completes a tidy wine.

James Suckling, 2023
Notes of ripe mangoes and candied pineapples together with caramel, walnut and honeysuckle. Medium- to full-bodied, juicy and crisp on the palate with just a hint of vanilla and honey at the end. Creamy and long.

For sheer joyfulness and the Chardonnay spirit of summer, this Geographe Chardie fits the bill. Gotta love all the zing and freshness. Plush in white peach, honeydew melon, lime, lemon, almond, hazelnut. Time in French barriques, some new, extended time on lees and the result is a lovely, inviting texture – nothing too heavy – just right. It’s matched, complemented, by that zing and zip of acidity that threads its way through the wine. So drinkable either solo or at the table.
