Why you'll love this wine
winemaker's notes
Dry Rosé is a great wine style – one that we put a lot of work into at Deep Woods Estate. This Rosé continues a run of excellent vintages, combining great freshness and lightness in a wine that is still complex and satisfying.

Tasting Notes
colour
The palest of pinks.
aroma
Vibrant strawberries and cream with a hint of lifted rose petals.
palate
Juicy and flavoursome with fresh raspberry and ripe, expressive strawberry. An unashamedly dry finish with a gorgeous silken texture and bright acidity.
cellaring
Best enjoyed within two years to capture the freshness and vibrancy of the wine.
Technical
vintage
We had a mild spring with adequate soil moisture, resulting in a slightly later season. A moderate summer led to ideal ripening conditions with little pressure in the vineyard and a lack of any major rain events during the ripening season. Consistently warm days and cool evenings made for great retention of acid within the grapes, whilst achieving optimal fruit expression.
winemaking
Fruit is sourced from the Margaret River region and careful viticultural techniques are used to ensure a delicate Rosé with great flavour. In the winery, the juice is protected from oxygen to ensure optimum colour and freshness of aromas. The wine underwent a short maturation period on lees lending a smooth texture to the final Rosé.

Reviews
Halliday Wine Companion 2025
An enticing pale pastel pink with a floral lift, lightly spiced and fruited with raspberries and strawberries. The palate is ultra-refreshing with zest and lemony acidity, yet there’s some texture, and this finishes dry.

A vibrant and lively bargain rosé that unites tangy pink grapefruit with some compelling pomegranate character. Bright acidity energises a long, fresh and dry finish. Impressive value.

Delicate cherry blossom, Rainier cherries and white nectarine. Shirley temple soda and wild raspberries. Freshness of grapefruit acidity and good middle palate weight of tangerine and kumquat citrus. Bright, lively and with a kick of savoury Murray River salt on the finish. Bone dry. A very well balanced Rosé with lots of drinking pleasure. Drink now with beetroot cured salmon slices.
