“This is such a rare varietal outside of its homeland in Spain, grown on one of our company-owned vineyards in MR. Often compared to whites such as Sauvignon Blanc, we wanted to make sure to pull away from making it like any other white wine. This allowed us to create a wine yielding maximum expression of the varietal characters, by taking a more minimalist winemaking approach. This involved using fewer additions during the making of the wine."

Pale lemon with a brilliant clarity.
Perfumed aromas of honeysuckle and lemon blossom with vibrant ripe citrus and apple.
A generous and crunchy mouthful bursting with pear, lime and green apple, balanced with a zippy sherbet acidity. The finish is long and textured with white peach and grapefruit lingering on the palate.
Enjoy now, lightly chilled.
2022 was a truly exceptional vintage in Margaret River. The season started beautifully with a wet spring and late flowering, leading to healthy vine growth. This was followed by a very warm and dry growing season, which kept disease pressure low. Yield was low which has produced concentrated flavours and fantastic acidity.
This select parcel of Margaret River Verdejo was harvested in the cool night and transported to the winery in the early hours of the morning. The fruit was gently pressed, taking only the pure free-run juice, before racking from any solids. Fermentation was carried out at cool temperatures to retain freshness. A small portion was fermented in barrel which has added a crunchy texture to the final blend. This wine underwent minimal fining and filtration before being bottled.
- Alcohol: 13.5%
This wine was made to enjoy on its own or with food as an aperitif and with seafood or lighter meals.
