Fogarty Wine Group awarded Seven Gold Medals at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show 2022

We are absolutely thrilled that Fogarty Wine Group has been awarded seven Gold Medals across Deep Woods Estate, Evans & Tate and Lowestoft in the Royal Adelaide Wine Show today.
The Gold Medals were awarded to the following wines:
- Deep Woods Estate 2020 Cabernet Malbec
- Deep Woods Estate 2020 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (official member release next week, public release 1 November)
- Evans & Tate 2019 Redbrook Estate Shiraz
- Evans & Tate 2019 Redbrook Estate Cabernet Merlot
- Evans & Tate 2020 Redbrook Reserve Chardonnay
- Evans & Tate 2022 Expressions Fresh as a Daisy Semillon Sauvignon Blanc
- Lowestoft 2021 Pinot Noir
The Deep Woods Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon was a finalist for the National Wine of Provenance, which recognises wines which reflect their region, lineage and longevity. The 2010, 2014 and 2020 vintages of this wine were tasted by the judges and classed in the Top 5 of all wines for this category. Following a pre-release of this wine after the Decanter Best in Show award earlier this year, there are now extremely limited quantities remaining for the official release next week.
The Royal Adelaide Wine Show is the most prestigious wine show in Australia, featuring over 2,500 wines from over 300 wineries across the country. Wines are judged by a panel of esteemed judges from across Australia over four days to determine medal and trophy winners and, with only a handful of Gold Medals awarded this year, being recognised as some of the best wines in the country in today’s results is an outstanding achievement.
We are beyond proud of Deep Woods Estate Chief Winemaker Julian Langworthy, Evans & Tate Senior Winemaker Matt Byrne and Lowestoft Chief Winemaker Liam McElhinney on these fantastic awards. A huge congratulations to all of the teams.
On winning four Gold Medals in today's results, Evans & Tate Senior Winemaker Matt Byrne said: "Beyond proud - to be awarded these Gold Medals by Chief Judge PJ Charteris and his team out of more than 2,500 of Australia’s best wines. And across four different varieties shows the depth in the quality of our fruit grown by our passionate viti team and the skill of all the crew at the E&T winery to capture and preserve this quality. There’s some delicious drinking experiences to be had amongst these four very memorable wines."
For the Redbrook Reserve Chardonnay fans, we have an extremely limited pre-release of the Evans & Tate 2020 Redbrook Reserve Chardonnay after this wine was awarded three Trophies and Gold at the Perth Royal Wine Awards 2022 for Best White Table Wine of Show, Best Western Australian White Table Wine of Show and Best Chardonnay of Show.
