The palate is clean and lively with tremendous depth of ripe fruit-salad flavour and intensity. A refreshing backbone of natural grape acidity adds to the delicate crispness while providing structure and length.

The fruit for this wine came solely from estate-grown fruit. The 2016 year continued the decade-long run of stellar vintages for the Margaret River region. The fruit was picked early before being whole-bunch pressed. The juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks at very low temperatures so as to maintain the zesty, citrus and pristine nature of the wine.
‘Verde’ refers to its youthful freshness that leads to a very slight green colour on the edges of the wine. The wine pays homage to the fresh ‘green’ wines of northern Portugal and is light and fresh – intended to be drunk within a year.
