vintage
The 2018 growing season offered good rainfall and long and sunny autumn providing ideal conditions for fruit flavours to develop slowly but fully.
winemaking
At harvest the Sauvignon Blanc grapes showed wonderfully intense varietal expression and natural acidity. The fruit form the varying vineyard parcels were fermented separately with carefully selected yeasts to highlight the aromatic nature of the Sauvignon Blanc fruit. Further maturation on yeast lees for three months prior to bottling has created pleasing palate weight and texture.
