Pale lemon.

Complex and lively aromas of fresh lime, candied lemon peel, bath salts and white flowers.
palate
The finely focused palate displays subtle fruit flavours of lemon, lime and orchard fruits, alongside delicate spice and minerality. A soft but racy acidity gives the wine an energetic feel and a long, lingering finish.
With careful cellaring this wine has developed some complex tertiary Riesling characteristics, such as enhanced texture and the classic varietal petrol aromas.

The 2018 growing season offered good rainfall and a long and sunny autumn provided ideal conditions for fruit flavours to develop slowly but fully.
winemaking
At harvest, the Riesling grapes showed wonderfully intense varietal expression and fine natural acidity. Vineyard parcels were fermented separately with carefully selected yeast strains. A short maturation on lees prior to bottling has created a Riesling with excellentvarietal character.

Preserved lemons, apple pastries, fresh herbs and white pepper are all on display. Medium body, plenty of fleshy stone fruit, driven but not overpowering acidity and a textured finish.
