Clear, pale lemon with green hues.
The wine displays tropical citrus aromas, with notes of kaffir lime and fresh-cut grass.
A dry, very well balanced and refreshing wine that reveals racy acidity with vibrant flavours of gooseberry and citrus. The long finish is clean and layered.
The 2021 vintage was moderate, mild and a wonderful year for Sauvignon Blanc in Margaret River, resulting in beautifully ripe, varietally pure wines that are brimming with perfect, delicate, natural acidity.
This parcel of Sauvignon Blanc was specifically selected in order to retain the freshness and vibrancy for which Millbrook is well known. The fruit was harvested in the cool of the night and transported to the winery for early morning processing. Gentle pressing, soft racking and the use of an aromatic yeast strain ensured freshness and varietal expression. This wine underwent membrane filtration before being bottled.

Sandy, sweaty, and a little bit ashy; this has a very engaging nose. There is shale and quartz and crushed shell, accompanied by green apple, citrus pith and guava. Juniper and cassis emerge through the finish. Very good!
This is our favourite wine to have when we visit Millbrook.
