Technical
Vintage
The 2019 growing season in Western Australia was both mild and atypically late, allowing for optimum ripeness to be achieved in this Chardonnay while retaining fresh, vibrant natural acid and varietal fruit flavours. The fruit was sourced from the Talisman vineyard in the Geographe region and was handpicked in the cool of the night.
Winemaking
The fruit was sourced from both the 52 Stones Vineyard in Ferguson Valley and our 30-year-old Smithbrook vineyard in Pemberton. Handpicked and chilled before being whole bunched pressed directly to new and one-year-old French barriques for wild fermentation.
After fermentation, the barrels were topped then stirred monthly. After six in oak, the wine was then bottled in December 2018.

Reviews
James Halliday, Halliday Wine Companion 2023
Luscious, opulent chardonnay that rolls around the mouth dispensing its peach and fig fruit wherever it goes. But it's not fleshy, and carries its alcohol without protest.

halliday wine companion 2020
Hand-picked from the 52 Stones Vineyard in the Ferguson Valley, chilled, whole-bunch pressed, wild-fermented, 100% mlf, matured in French oak (70% new). Very intense and long, the mlf certainly needed to soften the acidity to the level needed. A very classy wine with a lengthy future.

Having an email saying we would get another 10% of the wine we purchased
Not great, I did not finish the booking as I was under the impression, we would get 10% for being a member and 10% for having the points that I allocated off the wine. Can you please explain this to me.
