Clear, bright cherry red.
Fragrant dark cherry and strawberry with hints of raspberry, earthy beetroot and spice.
Fresh flavours of cherry and raspberry leading to a vibrant, juicy mouthfeel. Fine, smooth tannins give a plush and balanced structure with a long aftertaste of ripe berry fruits and a hint of spice.
Best enjoyed within five years of release.
The 2017 growing season had excellent winter and spring rainfall, accompanied by quite cool temperatures. A mild summer was followed by a long and sunny autumn allowing fruit flavours to develop slowly yet fully.
Fruit for this wine was specially selected and hand-picked from six different vineyards across five distinct viticultural subregions in Tasmania. Fermentation was undertaken in open fermenters, with the cap of grape skins carefully hand plunged to gently extract the ripe, long tannins. Selected parcels received post-ferment maceration to layer the wine with complexity and mouthfeel.

Cranberries, strawberries, fresh herbs and citrus. Quite mouth-filling and succulent on the palate, where finely chiselled tannins cut out a sleek form. Drink now.
Super smooth Tasmanian Pinot Noir. Highly recommended ✅
