The 2018 growing season offered good rainfall and long and sunny autumn providing ideal conditions for fruit flavours to develop slowly but fully.
Fruit for this wine was selected from two distinct viticultural subregions across Tasmania. Picked at optimal flavour ripeness before gentle whole berry pressing, fermentation on full solids and minimal handling, the wine was then aged on lees for six months prior to final blending and bottling. A complex and alluring Pinot Gris, carefully crafted to highlight the purity of the grape’s unique varietal qualities.
