Vibrant deep purple.
Lifted violets and red berry fruits with a touch of pepper and spice.
Medium-bodied, vibrant and with soft silky tannins, this wine shows off the plush, red raspberry and floral nature of Grenache with the Shiraz and Mourvèdre adding peppery spice, plum and cherry notes. A sumptuous, moreish wine that persists on the palate.
This vibrant red has the potential to age for 3 to 5 years from vintage.Download Tasting Notes
The dry, mild temperatures of the 2018 growing season provided ideal conditions across Western Australia for fruit to ripen fully whilst still retaining a beautiful aromatic profile and natural acidity. The majority of fruit for this wine was sourced from the Ferguson Valley in the Geographe Region and a small parcel of cool-climate Shiraz from the Great Southern Region was used to provide a spicy yet delicate edge to the final blend.
Fruit was destemmed before being fermented on skins in small, open top fermenters with a select strain of yeast for six days and hand plunged twice daily after this time for gentle extraction of tannins. The individual parcels of wine were then pressed to seasoned French oak puncheons for four months, before being blended and lightly filtered prior to bottling in September 2018.

A highly decorated blend from Geographe. Floral red fruit notes on the nose that burst forth with generous flavours on the palate. Seasoned oak only here, which promotes the full impact of the fruit. Outstanding wine.94
Beautiful grenache aromas and flavours coming through in this blended red with ripe strawberries and fresh-rose undertones. Some orange peel, too. Full body, round and flavorful.92
Grenache can boast compelling energy way out west: less jubey and plush than those from SA; more compact and tense. This said, there is still the generosity of musk stick, cherry bonbon and orange peel warmth beaming off a ferrous core, the genetics of mourvedre.91
