The 2014 vintage in Western Australia was warm and dry with almost perfect growing conditions for all grape varieties. The Perth Hills experienced warm days and mild nights, allowing even ripening and optimal flavour development.
The fruit for this wine was handpicked early in the morning during February and March, depending on the variety. Each component was kept separate until optimum barrel age was achieved when the wine was then blended and prepared for bottling in June 2016.
