It is sourced from a single tiny Block “G5”, located in the Yallingup Hills subregion in the north of Margaret River. Old vine, on deep gravel loams, this magnificent site has delivered a wine of exceptional balance and intensity. Deep red/purple. Intense aromas of raspberry and blackberry nuanced by hints of graphite and warm spice. The palate is berry fruited and buoyant, powdery fine tannins weave a moreish web of cocoa and fresh tobacco to a tense, long finish.
The Chardonnay comes from a low yielding super premium vineyard in Karridale, nestled in southern Margaret River. The aromas are redolent of white nectarine and white blossom with nuances of chipped shell. The palate is driven by a citrusy acidity and stone fruit flavours.
