“Dry rosé is a great wine style – one that we put a lot of work into at Deep Woods Estate. This rosé continues a run of excellent vintages, combining great freshness and lightness in a wine that is still complex and satisfying.”
Palest of pinks.
Forest berries with a hint of lifted violet notes.
Unashamedly dry with vibrant, balanced acidity. Light- to medium-bodied, displaying raspberry and strawberry fruit flavours with a satisfying persistent finish.
Best enjoyed in the first two years from vintage so as to capture the freshness and vibrancy of the wine.Download Tasting Notes
The 2018 growing season was another idyllic vintage in Margaret River. The growing season was steady, moderate and without major heat spikes seen in some previous years. All varieties were harvested with excellent purity of fruit and natural acidity.
Grilled calamari with lemon and parsley.
Always right on the money for this style in the value-for-money area. Strawberry and raspberry aromas provide an engaging opening, while the savoury fruit characters on the light-bodied palate are excellent.91
